During the summer program, participants will be offered a rich cultural program that will introduce the Czech Republic and Central Europe. The cultural program includes a guided tour of Brno, a trip to Prague (2 days), a trip to Vienna and Budapest (3 days), an afternoon trip to the Moravian Karst, cultural events in the city(depending on what is offered of the duration of the program), and a welcome and farewell dinner.
Students are expected to work at least 40 hours (4 hours a day, 5 days a week, 2 weeks in total) in selected modules and on projects assigned and supervised by local faculty members. In order to receive the credits for the module participation, students must hand in an academic essay of appropriate length. The required standard of English: B2 according to the European reference framework for languages.
The participants are entitled to the following: the entire academic program; all teaching materials; all field trips; all entrance fees; accommodation in Brno, Prague, and Vienna including utilities; a public transportation ticket in the city of Brno for the duration of the program; a welcome dinner and/or farewell dinner.
Note: the summer program is subject to change depending on the conditions that may arise during the program. If there is a change, however, adequate compensation will be offered to the participants.
